Michael Jackson Discography on the main page...hmmm it would appear that Blood On The Dancefloor: HIStory In The Mix has been left out. Pity. "Ghosts" is a killer track.

Actually its somersaults James Kreczak.

To be on topic, the Brit Awards are a celebration of one of the worst things about the music industry, manufactured poppy garbage. Such as Duffy, Take That etc. I mean Take That were miming for christ's sake. There was as much talent there as there is honey leaking out of my left testicle. The only person really deserving of an award was Florence and the Machine who won the critic's choice award. The rest of the **** was dribble voted for by the mindless masses who read the Sun and actually still buy singles in this day and age. Those award ceremonies will get worse and worse every year.

NOTE Kings of Leon actually used to be a good band, but when I saw them perform at that ceremony I realised they had sold their souls to the multimillion record demons.

i hate pathetic losers who sit and watch something they d like just to moan about it.i mean is that the best use of their life.i cant stand holby city,do you see me watching it every time just to slag it off in forums.no i didnt think so.as for girls aloud its aut time some real pop brit bands won awards instead of stereotype rock rubbish like oasis winning year in year out.now oasis really are a band who make the brits so bad.wh it matters is bands and grs are put together by a company oey get totgether as friends or even brother and sister, whatever reason ppl are together if they look good an can sing catchy upbeat songs (oasis are neither) then whats the problem, oait THERE IS'NT ONE !!!

the brits were abit dissapointing and predictable but overall the people who were there  looked like they were havin a good time. i do think some awards fell into the wrong hands but the losers didnt seem to care. they looked hppy enoughh just being there. i know if it was me i would  love to get the awards but just the experiencealone would be enough for me. as for the live performances i personally adore take that. i own all thier albums. but i have no idea why the were miming. they are amazing singers. i think estelle couldnt really hit the low note when she was singing with the ting tings but she tried. kings of leon were amaazeee. i loved them . the brits are becoming more predictable every year but its better then sitting at home doing nothing.  they may not be as enjoyable aas they use to be but i still watch them. &  probably always will.

does anyone actually care about the Brits anymore?
its all soo predictable
where are bands like oasis - you know, the ones with an actual talent?
Best British single - girls aloud the promise - is that really the best single from the whole of 2008? No
its all so manufactured.
Duffy really isn't that good either
she can sing but her songs are soo bland
Last shadow puppets should have won the breakthrough act - theyre really good

oh well - the brits dont really matter anymore i dont think - its all so false and pretentious

Why has no one mentioned Elbow?? These men have been around far longer than most of the "bands" that are around now, and I use that term bands loosely as it is all a bunch of manufactured mumbojumbo that is produced now!! Elbow are excellent, as are Kings of Leon, however I preferred them before Only By the Night, their sound is very commercial nowadays as opposed to their first 2 albums.  I also love Gavin & Stacey but woz so utterly disappointed by Mathew and James :( They put on a poor show!! I agree with some of the other comments about how the Brits only appreciates certain bands and leaves out some great British talent! Oasis' new album is really great, although I am not their biggest fan, I think it possibly deserved best album, Duffy aint that good!!
I just hope the Brits get it together for next year, and start to appreciate some original sounding music and bands that deserve a nomination (aka not Scouting for Girls)

Pleased to see Weller get an award. He should have been nominated for best album too coz 22 Dreams was definitely one of THE albums of the year. Last Shadow Puppets and Adele should've been in that catigory too. How Duffy got that award is beyond me. KoL were, as expected, the best act on the night - what a voice!!! I'd like to have seen Fleet Foxes get an award for their brilliant album tho' - it's not just my album of 2008 but of the last decade! Oh well.

why didn't the script get any awards?
they are a great band!

good too see some recogniton for maiden....amazing live performances and such a talent they are, other bands  like judas priest, saxon are also amazing and do deserve some recognition, but get overlooked by the 'x-factor (de)generation'  and the miming is classic, haha

The Brits were boring. No one swearing or getting in trouble (dressing as farmers...) Not everyone that accepted an award was clearlly drunk, Girls Aloud won something, Duffy beat one of my favourite bands. Come on, i'd rather Leona horse women Lewis win something than those annoying thicks. And I like Duffy, but 3 times? Twice is enough. Its all mainstream as well. Which means proper bands cant win anything. But, i'm glad Kings Of Leon won. I love them. I like MGMT too. And the Last Shadow Puppets. ONE of thoses realy good bands won. Just shows you, decent bands can't win anything.

BRIT's were SH*T as usually, it had no depth or real value of entertainment, why couldn't were hear or see some young raw talent, potentials liks N-dubz, chipmunk or even the saturdays its all political i tell ya in thr music industry its 'complex and divided'.  And what was up with the Craig David (he has made more than you by the way gaviv n stacey fools) disrespect every minute, british people need to give all types of music produced in the uk no matter how different a chance to shine!

Once again, the Brits were very disappointing. They seem to ever more highlight the unfortunate decline of good British music. We seem to be awarding old bands that were once good but have now totally passed their sell-by dates or new bands/artists that are completely manufactured and lacking in soul, talent and longevity - i don't even have to name these artists, you know who i mean. I don't like to name names but nominees like Scouting for girls whose albums are quite literally 12 versions of the same song do really disappoint me. And, whatever people say, I do really like the latest Coldplay album as it is a million miles away from the afore-mentioned. If you like proper music visit LEIKA's website www.leika.co.uk - they are truly fab and no, the fact that i'm the lead singer does not make me biased. bye. Rom
